It was a dark cold night; the wind was picking up causing the trees and leaves to rustle around. The forest was eerie, as it normally was. The sound of heavy breathing in the distance seemed to be ever looming. It was as if there were creatures waiting for their prey. The forest was known for its mysteries, most that went in it, never came back. They say there was a demon that lived deep in the forest, one that was so grotesque that once a man laid eyes on it, they dropped dead. That was only a rumor you see, and most did not take it seriously, but then again, no one saw them. Simply a rumor or a true terror? Who would know?
In the kingdom of Thiris, there was a young boy always seemed interested in this tale and gathered information anytime someone spoke of it. He was born in Thiris, and he stayed here training to be a royal guard to the king. Once he turned 18, he was offered to be one of the royal knights, though something odd happened. As the position was offered to him, the biggest of smiles spread along his lips as he exclaimed. “Before I do so, I want to go slay the creature in the forest”
That was days ago when the young man left the kingdom of Thiris, it seemed he would not be swayed with reason, but when it came down to it, everyone wondered if he could.
It was night now, as the young man wandered his way into the thicket seeming to manage to push through most of the trunk and branches while having pieces of his clothes shred off. He knew it wouldn’t be easy to find this beast, he wasn’t even sure if it was real. He often wondered how long he would search until he would assume it didn’t exist?
The first week came and went as he managed to live on the forest and it’s fruit. It seemed easy to him, nothing had even attacked him, it was odd mostly. There was no wolves, no demons, not even some weird hobo. The boy grew curious as to why there were no nighttime predators. Did this mean the creature did exist? On the second week, he wandered some more, finding himself at a lake. Thrilled with this find, he pulled off his clothes and all but lept in wanting to feel the sensation of water along his skin. It was cool refreshing, but most of all, it was relaxing. This whole time in the forest, he was on his A game, he was listening for anything and everything, it was nice to just let his guard down. Coming up to the surface for air is when it happened. His eyes opened to spot a woman on the shore with the oddest of looks. Her hair was bright blue, she had claws for hands, her tail was scaly almost like a dragons, and she had weird attire. Slowly he began to pull himself out of the water noticing her top was nothing more than some form of beasts’ claw. His eyes ventured down her slender well-proportioned figure to notice a claw between her legs.
“While I love seeing those look at me like that, my eyes are up here.” The woman’s voice rang out in a bit of a growl, but it was warm, seductive, and somehow enthralling.
He immediately looked up to her face with a light blush. “I apologize” it was obvious to him she wasn’t human but was she the creature. “I heard a tale of a demon that lived in this forest, that caused the deaths of many a man and beast. They say whoever travels into the forest never returns. Have you heard of such a tale?” he decided to implore the woman, what harm could it possible do?
She watched him carefully, it was obvious her dark eyes were drinking in his every expression, movement; it was as if she was watching her prey. He spoke and she listened, as he asked her the question she laughed at him, a slow sensual sound. “Oh, I see, you’re looking for the forest’ naughty secret?” she asked a soft chuckle added at the end. Her claw moved up to her face as she traced it along her lips slowly.
He blinked noticing her movements a bit too well, “So the creature does exist! I knew it”
She smiled widely at him. “Of course, I can take you to them, would you like to see?” She slowly stood up allowing her tail to swish behind her with a bit of interest. Her other claw fell along her side as she cocked her hip to the side.
Jackpot! He knew it existed and this demon was apparently going to show the way. Excited he began to get out of the water and pull his clothes on only steps away from the demon woman. “Great! Lead the way!” he smiled brightly.
This boy amused her, he was oblivious to her being a demon, it was as if he never thought she would hurt him, boy was he in for an eye opener. He pulled on his clothes causing her to life her eyebrow at him, he was young, though… She purred, not too bad though. Smiling, she waited for him to be finished and began walking before him, purposely swinging her hips
