It didn’t take long before she had made her way back into the Tavern. Slowly, she had went up the stairs making sure to be careful with her dress before finally finding the right room. Quickly slipping in the room, she shut the door behind her before. She pulled at the tatters of clothing and stood there for a long moment. Those clothes were no longer, they were but strips along the ground. A soft breeze seemed to flow through the window and brush along her skin, causing a soft shiver. Unfortunately, the hunger in her was creeping up on her. The need to feed was overwhelming. It burned at her very soul and shook her composure for a brief moment. Picking up the new clothing, she noticed it looked small. Was it going to fit? Rena wasn’t entirely sure, however she did buy the clothes, and she didn’t have any other alternatives.
A minute or two passed as she looked down at herself, seeing it fit a bit too tight, however she did notice it was highly flexible. It made sense now; it was meant to be warn under the armor and was flexible enough to not limit her moving. Though it was a bit tight, it made sense. She took a moment to look over herself and sighed. “I blame you.”
‘Guilty! I am a succubus; surely, you didn’t think I wouldn’t add a little to make it more enjoyable for me. Did you?’
Rena sighed and picked up the armor pieces and began to place them on, making sure they would fit. “Well it’s weird, and not something I’m used to, but at least I won’t flash anyone, so that’s good.” Pleased with that idea, she turned and looked over the room once more.
The room was barren; it was just a simple room with a bed, table, chair, and window. Most would call it empty, lonely, or lacking, but it oddly felt comfortable. Smiling her eyes closed remember her life at home. The image of her ‘room’ flashed as a glimpse and quickly faded.
Her eyes opened her gaze dull for brief moment. Rena’s composure slowly degraded into depression. She began to slouch, her overall appearance seeming to drain.“Home.” Her voice was monotone; it was as if the simple mention of the word brought this spout on. A sigh escaped her lips before she slowly regained herself. “I’ll fix it all” she stated and stood up and moved over to sit on the bed. One hand slid over the sheet as she smiled.
Soon enough, a growl interrupted her thoughts. ‘I hunger.’
Rena sighed, there was no avoiding it, and she expected it to happen. She did have to use some of her power after all, whether intentional or not. Giving in she rose from the bed, moved towards the door of the room, and walked down the stairs into the tavern. It was time to find someone prideful, and in a tavern full of drunkards, she was sure to have her fill.
