The kingdom of Laythien was whirling into action. Guards were either escorting people into the tavern, or at the front gates attempting to keep what they could at bay. It was somewhat interesting to see this kingdom work together, however their guards seemed rather sloppy. Rena paused for a brief moment to look around her mist, it seemed fine, but what of Sophia? Right as she turned to run into the bounty guild, she felt someone cross into her steam. Her sword quickly moved with her body as she pointed it in their direction. Noticing a girl, she relaxed, but only a little. She had noticed the woman’s affinity to water and sighed.
“I have the bounty guild secured, there are many houses on fire, the people inside may be trapped or worse. They would benefit greatly by some water,” she stated loud enough for the girl to hear her. The sound of the birds caught her attention again as she felt fury well up inside her. This wasn’t good. Turning her sword sliced through the air causing a massive burst of air to slice through the mist and the creatures before.
She could only hope that the girl would help those she couldn’t. With Vlad’s instruction to not let anyone inside the bounty guild or near Sophia, she couldn’t really be too careful. Though the girl may not have been a threat to Sophia, she just couldn’t take that chance. Inhaling she swung her sword causing wind to whip up around the guild throwing creatures back into stray homes or into the sky. Taking her chance, she darted into the guild and slammed the door shut. Quickly shoving some chairs against the door she moved back to Sophia’s room. One door led to the main room and the only other thing in the room other than the table was a window. Quickly barricading that door with a couple free chairs, she moved towards the window and placed her sword between her and the window.
“I really need a smaller catalyst,” she stated with a sigh before focusing on the blood along the ground and forcing it to form into orbs. Moving her hand upwards, the orbs flew up into the air and began to throw their tentacles around slamming the birds down into the ground. Taking a step forward, she carefully hoisted herself onto the window ledge and swung her hand out throwing waves of air out into the nearby birds cutting them down where they were.
Moving her left hand back to grab onto the hilt of her sword, she pushed her right hand forward condensing the air near the guild into mist once more into a ring making sure the inside the of the building wasn’t touched. With a quick thought of the girl she just met, she sighed. “Forgive me if you’re still near.” Focusing her energy completely the moisture in the air, she felt it grow heavy as the ph levels rose causing it to take a more acidic composition. Keeping her hand before her, she kept her concentration allowing the orbs in the air to rise in ph levels. The sound of corpses hitting the ground echoed around her, she maybe wasn’t the most offensive of people, but she was defensive and she was able to hold this place down. With acidic mist and water tentacles, she should be fine, for now.
