Growing up as a child, she didn’t have to worry about moving often. Her neko tribe had already made the move to Chromire before she was even born. Miyuki found herself surrounding by kind humans and playful children. It all seemed rather well. Most of the children were taught basic history, survival and some basic math in a little cottage in the middle of the village. The village chieftain was a larger male with broad shoulders and a rather sturdy build. Most of the children thought he could lift anything. The chieftain took it upon himself to hold the lessons; he always seemed to be the king and generous sort of person.
As Miyuki grew older, she developed much differently than other female nekos. Her body frame was much more curvy than most others were. She always felt a bit proud that the other girls were rather “flat” in contrast and found that she gained a lot of attention. As a type of cat, she loved attention and her body being the way it was happened to get her just that. Pleased with her appearance, she did what most of her tribe did. Found clothes that covered only what it needed to, however she made it a bit flashier and added lace. Sure, it was a bit gaudy, but she rather liked it. Finally hitting her teens, she found it amusing to play around with the teen boys, they were always so focused on her figure, and the way she could talk her way into any situation, however most of them were simply boring.
On the night of her seventeenth birthday, her mother went missing. Panicked she slipped out at night to try to find her. Miyuki was rather adept to hiding and lurking in the shadows, however what she didn’t expect was to see a group of the adult nekos standing in front of what looked to be fish people. Confused she continued to watch from the shadows until she noticed the big man was the village chieftain! Shocked by this turn of events, she was stunned in silence and left only to watch. It didn’t take long before the fighting broke out. During the panic, she noticed how quickly her people were falling, in desperation she went to grab some of the children and snuck them out through windows. After gathering a large group, she had found herself cornered by a few of the fish people and didn’t know how to save them. The leader of the neko’s stepped up to protect them, using his cabal focuser[X element. Unfortunately, he didn’t last long, and as his arm was, tore off and flung to the side, taking the advantage she grabbed the cabal focuser, using it to hold back the fishmen and ran with the children towards the docks.
At this point, Miyuki was loading them up on a boat in an attempt to save them from this. As she turned around to rush for her father, she was cornered by the chieftain who wasn’t about to let them leave. Right as he was about to attack her, her father came just in time, and shoved her on the boat and gave her his cabal focuser and kicked them off to sea. That was the last time she ever saw her father, or her village.
The spent a day out at sea until they finally managed to make it to the nearby kingdom. As they docked officials stopped them, Miyuki knew her story would sound odd and didn’t want to drag the children into any more problem. Desperate to make sure they would be okay she told them her village was destroyed by famine and she wanted to save the children. That lie seemed to allow them access and the other children were taken to an orphanage. Miyuki wasn’t about to just move on and forget what happened, deciding to cling to the event she desperately searched for answers.
Extra: Been in this kingdom for a month. Works at a nearby inn to help clean the rooms for some extra money. Goes to the orphanage every day to make sure the children are okay. Bought a cloak as to not draw attention to her focusers. Has been gathering what information she could. She mentioned her story to the innkeeper she worked with and they didn’t take her seriously. Miyuki believes in what she saw and won’t be discouraged by people not believing her, however she is beginning to wonder if someone else knows anything at all. Practices use with her focusers every night on random objects to heighten her focus and control.
