There are times in life where you’re going through the motions and find yourself noticing that you’re on autopilot. That moment when you’re doing something, but you’re so use to doing it that you don’t even have to think. Humans are creatures of habit, we do things in cycles, we know our rounds and we are use to certain things. When it comes to jobs we know what we need to do with each day. Some points we may space out and hours may pass while we’re working but not even realizing that we did so.
It made me question what in our mind causes that space out. When does an activity you’re concentrating on become an automatic thoughtless process. Is it repetition? Is it boredom? Or is it something innate that causes it.
