Hello all! For a while now I’ve been playing some modded terraria and figured I would go ahead and share some of my mods and state what I like about them. So first off all these mods will be through Tmodloader, because that’s what my muse and I decided to use. The biggest issues with using new mods or finding mods is if they’re compatible together. All the ones I will be listing will be the ones that I use, so yes, they’re compatible.
So firstly, here’s the list:
-Experience and Classes
-Fargo’s Mutant Mod
-Prefixes for Enemies
Now I’ll explain a bit of what each do and why we have them.
Adds SO MUCH. So many bosses, so many weapons, more enemies, so much armor, pretty much everything. It’s just nice to see so much extra stuff. Also adds a tremode for when you hit hard mode, to make it harder.
Added a couple new class types like the alchemist and a healer. There are more mobs types, I believe a new biome, definitely new bosses. Lots of weapons and armor It’s also a nice add on.
Experience and Classes
My muse and I always love mmos and rpgs that let us pick out classes, so seeing a mod that let us do so was just too perfect. You go from novice to what first spec you and, and then you have to options. So for instance: Novice to Squire can become Warrior or Tank. You get EXP and buffs based on your class.
Do you like looking good? Do you like glamour armor, wings, and even housing items that do nothing other than look cool? This mod is for you! There are a couple weapons, but they’re mostly just for good looks.
Fargo’s Mutant Mod
I’m not aware of the entire contents of this mod, but there is an NPC it gives you that’s the Mutant. The mutant allows you to summon bosses or events you’ve already had. Got annoyed with having to make a slime crown when all you want to do is kill Slime king one more time? Never fear, you fought him once, go buy it from the Mutant!
In the case of having many many mods, this is a must. This will put ALL the bosses on one nice and easy check list so you can see what you have and haven’t killed, and yes it does check them off when you kill them. Some mods aren’t completely compatible so they won’t always check off, but most do.
So, I know this can be used to pull any item in the game out, but my muse and I use it because it has the recipe browser. Since we have so many mods, our poor Guide can’t seem to figure out what some of these items are for. So we use the recipe browser portion to see what we can make. There is also the actual cheat menu, we only use that to trade Crim items for Corrupt items depending on the world we’re in.
New mobs, new weapons and armor. Some of it is hard to find though.
New mobs, new weapons, possibly new armor, can’t find too much info, but it’s there for me. Lol
Oh. My. God. OP bosses, OP weapons, OP armor. OP events, much more stuff than you wanted after moonlord, and it all hurts.
Adds more alchemy things, also bugs and spam spawns sometimes
Prefixes for Enemies
Now this is a love and hate relationship. This can cause your enemies to explode when you kill them, become an OP lightning god that shoots lightning [even slimes!], become gigantic, even super small or split into multiple copies when you kill them. The prefixes are endless. There are two big problems with this. Firstly, this can happen to bosses. So you just killed eye of cthulu? Guess what, here’s three more. Secondly, it doesn’t work too well in multiplayer. It gives prefixes for each person, meaning there’s different ones for different peoples meaning when you’re fighting them with a couple people on the server they may have like 4 prefixes. This will cause immense server lag, but it’s fun though.
New weapons, new mods, new armor, new biome, new boss. Not as big as the other one I have but still a nice addition.
Hate when you die in your house and there are gravestones covering everything you tried to make pretty? Well worry not! Gravestone killer makes it so your gravestones don’t spawn anymore! No more pesky gravestones on your nice new wooden floors
This causes a couple things. One, it fixes some of the drop tables, to make it less grinding to get certain things. It helps getting late items easier [chloryphte accelerator], also gives you access to war potions, which is double the battle potion.
Pretty lazy honestly, but it makes it so you can hold down your mouse button instead of clicking over and over again.
