Her eyes were locked on him, as he seemed to have some issue figuring out how to talk to her. It was as if he didn’t really know how to talk to people, not that she should judge, but at the moment she wasn’t happy. The first set of words to leave his mouth was something about health regen. Her eyes narrowed in clear confusion at his words. Was he trying to change the subject, was he pitying her? Why the hell would he want to offer her food at a time like this?
“So you’re telling me…” Slowly her arms fell from her legs as slid her legs back down to the ground, her hands to her side now. The tears were gone now, but she was clearly in full out aggression mode. “You watch some man tell us all that this game can get us killed. You watch me almost get strangled to death then punched in the face, and you’re only reaction to all of this is…” her voice was silent but seething with anger. “Do you want some food?!” that line was yelled.
Yu stumbled back up to her feet and took a step towards the man that just called himself Ashura. She was very ready to look menacingly down at the man; however, with her now standing all the way up, she had realized he was quite a bit taller. Her paled gaze glared up at him at a pretty bad attempt to look menacing. Perhaps it was due to the height difference, but she didn’t waver.
“Okay Ashura…” she attempted to talk a bit hushed once more this time poking his chest with each sentence she spoke. “There are many things I could call you, many things I could do to you, many things that can happen at this exact moment, but after that announcement…” a moment of worry seemed to hit her as she glanced away from him, her hand falling back down to her side . “How do I know you’re not a hacker waiting for me to give you a chance just so you can kill me?” her emotions were quite literally all over the place, her voice was back to be scared, but at least she was standing up now.
“And.. I already bought food before the reset..” she grumbled under her breath “not that it matters..”
