-A person who is contracted with a dragon that has earned knight status.
-If you are contracted with an ACTUAL dragon you will be told to join the dragon knights. You will still undergo the test, but you will be apart of the knights.
– If you are contracted with a wyrm or wyvern, you will still be contacted and tested as well.
-Most of the direct descendants of the dragon kingdom are said to have traces of dragon blood in them.
-You will gain power due to your contract. The power will be specific to not only the dragon/wyrm/wyvern but also the person. Meaning each person’s power should be different.
-The ranks of contracts are as follows: wyrms < wyverns < dragons. This being said the magic or contracted power from each being will be stronger, however it will come down the skill of the person in terms of who would win.
What do dragon knights do:
-protect their people
-fight in wars
-protect and hunt down dragons/eggs that were captured
-kill creatures threatening the kingdom or surrounding villages
-gain information on the land, nearby villages or allied kingdoms
-they act as the most elite knights and are loved by the people of their land
-they range from commoners to nobles and VERY VERY rarely peasants
-they normally act in squads unless their dragon is a solo type, they will not force others to work together if it bothers the dragon.
-can be any species
-make pacts with demons or other creatures
-their abilities will vary depending on their pact
-the type of person and the creature they have a pact with will determine their strength
-most will be able to use magic outside of their pact OR have some form of an ability outside of their pact
-they gained their “one ability” through circumstance, birth, greed or rage
-they will seem similar to dragon knights depending on their pact creature
-their strength has a possibility of matching that of a dragon knight
-they normally ally themselves based on their past, money or hatred.
