Every person of different flavor
has wide set of behaivor
like a canvas fresh to paint
red for love, blue for sadness, we can relate
such beautiful color on your spread
different hues and simple reds
each is different with its flow
background, emotions, these things we don’t know
people are creatures of habit, they say
for one its nothings, for other its a day by day
we’re each different inside and out
from emotion, background, style and doubt
Rock your colors!
In the brunt of day
What is there to say?
You work in the grind
Hoping to not be in a financial bind
As the day draws near
It’s your future you fear
You reach for your dreams
Only to break at the seams
You live only once, they say
But should you work away every day?
When does it become less work, more play?
I wish for but a day
Give me a moment of sweet joy
There sometimes I’d like to spend
With this one boy
This was a poem book I wrote back in 2009. I did get it published, however it is by no means good. At least I criticize it all the time. Either way, it is a part of my work, so I’ll be posting all the poems here.
“Do you feel alone? Feel as if no one understand you and your love for music, friends, relationships, and partying. Teenage life is the point in everyone’s life that they remember key parts, but while you are living them, things seem quite tough, like no one really understand you. This girl Kanna, also thinks that no one understands her. As you read through you will feel as Kanna felt. The betrayal, lies, love, hate, and friendship will all become reality as they pages turn, and all you can do is remember her story.”
“Light and darkness hold a balance
Evil lurking, plotting malice
Knowledge is power, this power to end
The hope, the sword, the strength to mend
Parts and pieces they seem the same
Each a plot in the whole main game
Squirm and crawl the end draws near
There won’t be another year
Alas a chance brought from the gods
Through them you can flip all the odds
A hero, a legend, the chance at life
Break the seals, cause the strife
The hero will rise above the broken decay
Seal after seal and then, a door way
Many will perish, most will fall
Hurry hero, save them all
Beware the balance, shall it falter
The last attempt will be an alter
Balance broken he remains
Trust them not, his great domains
A great battle, a pendulum of fate
Hero be great
Or world be devastate”
Forgot to post this, late post! 🙂
So much tension, so much stress
Is it right to lost all sense?
So much drama, so much heat?
Is this something I can beat?
So much blood, so much pain
Will you people leave me sane?
So much pressure, so much rhyme
Will you people give me time?
So much love to make amends
So many people it all depends
There’s too much to lose, too little to gain
Not enough to make me vain
So what do you do?
When it all falls down on you?
Will you stand and fight?
Or will you run and say goodnight?
A canvas of grey, a background of your misery
Slashes of red, the color of your pain
Splotches of purple, your frustration far past turning blue
Bars of black that turn and contort, the poison, the taint that is the world.
One small cluster of little white dots in the center, the hope hidden behind the oppression
A canvas so dark, the colors of your life.
