Hello all, while I wait to see how that 100 sub poll goes I’ll show you the last piece of art I did. Unfortunately this one I didn’t know what I wanted to do after this initial sketch and line. I thought I was going to draw a landscape, but that felt too dull. I was going to draw an anime person looking straight ahead and make the left half a girl and the right half a guy, but it seems I lost that idea somewhere in the midst of it all. I may end up finishing it at some point, but here is a sketch/line of an idea I saw somewhere.
Now completely settled in her rather nice little train room, she couldn’t help but admire the scenery, though she already knew that she needed to meet someone. Biting her lower lip, she tried to think of what all she knew. When a small blank was drawn, she frowned. Yes, she would need to learn a lot of things, but more than that, she needed to make some form of friend of acquaintance that could fill her in on this type of stuff. As if there was an answer to her own thoughts, a man appeared from the same door she did.
“Oh hello” she stated quickly trying to not seem impolite or rude; however he was already walking off. Frowning, she stared at the ground for a moment. Did people with magical potential act differently? This wasn’t a thing she considered prior. There was a long pause as she tried to think of how best to judge this situation. Deciding to do exactly what she wanted, she got back up and walked out of her train room and down the hall.
She couldn’t help it, she was much too curious and she had only seen one person thus far. However, to be fair, she hadn’t really gone anywhere. That wasn’t the point; he looked like he knew things! Pleased with this decision, she peered into the next door, pleased to see if hadn’t went very far and soft knocked on the door before sliding it open.
“I umm..” Raya paused for a moment choosing her words carefully. “Wanted to introduce myself…” she added a bit nervously before taking a step forward and putting her hand out for a hand shake “My name is Raya, I’m a first year.” Realizing she was being weird she quickly pulled back her hand and laughed softly. “Can I ask for your name?” Sure his appearance seemed a bit off, and there wasn’t a lot of him that she could see, but maybe ALL magical people were like this.
It felt like the longest wait in the world, but finally today was the day! It was time to make a journey into the land of magic. A land that she had only dreamt of and honestly, she had no idea what to expect. Raya’s eyes looked over her dim room at the bags she had packed and nodded. One bag full of clothes and the other for her books and other various magical discoveries she had made, and of course, a couple quartz. Please with this, she nodded and pulled out the letter and read over it again. Once she got to the end, she blinked noticing the last P.S had changed.
Her eyes went wide for a moment before she couldn’t help but smile. “It is real”
That thought aside, she carried her bags out of her room and out the front door. Thankfully, her parents were out doing there using work related life deals, so this was a perfect time to leave. She had even managed to leave a little note stating she was going off to study and she would contact them when she could. Though it was rather vague, it would have to work; surely, it wouldn’t be THAT strange for her to leave for a day or two, but once a week hit they may worry. Raya shrugged seeming to not care at this moment in time. No, it was time to go and see her new life.
The walk to the designated area was quite long; she didn’t have any money for a bus so she had no choice but to walk her way towards the shop. A small clock shop, she remembered walking past it as a kid, but not once had she ever went inside. Peering into the shop, it seemed very normal. Grandfather clocks around every corner, ornate wall clocks, digital clocks, and watches on mannequin arms. Finally, her eyes fell along a rather skinny old man. He had been watching her carefully. Realizing she must seem odd, she finally pulled out the paper and handed it over to him. “I was told to give you this?” it was obvious she wasn’t too sure how this worked, but the moment the man nodded and began to walk away, she just knew she had to follow him.
Winding through the clock paths, they came to a room. Within a moment, he handed back the letter and motioned towards the door. She went to ask question but decided it would only make her seem out of place. Nodding slowly, she opened the door and stepped in. For a moment, it was pitch black, but quickly light shone through as she found herself standing in an empty train room. Not only that, the window in front of her showed she was moving. “Amazing!’ it was a soft gasp, but it was obvious she was definitely excited.
It took only a minute or two for her to put her bags in the storage above and to finally sit down and look out the window. “This is really happening”

Bio: : “I always thought I was a bit strange. Growing up, I never had the same interests as the other children my age. Those fairytales we were once told just seemed too real to me. The idea of magic was seen more as a joke , but to me, I just knew it was real. One day, I sumbled on an old looking book in the library. I often searched the library for anything relating to magic, but most were flukes. Much like the rest of them, I went through the pages making little notes with questions, it just seemed like the rest. As I went to finish the book, I flipped to the last page and noticed some weirdsymbols and some form of poem. Curiousity took hold and I began to look up the symbols and figured out it was the symbol for crystal. Soon enough I tried the crazy poem as if it were a chant and soon enough the crystal began to levitate in my hand. Ecstatic with this find, I began to practice until I didn’t need the chant anymore, but it never worked with anything else other than the crystals. I had finally found my lead to magic, but I had already hit a wall. Either way, that’s when my story with magic started and soon after I received my letter from Nara Manen Academy. My new magical life starts now and I can’t wait!”
