On the top of the mountain sat the new village of Ryleth. The villagers decided to stay closer to the edge and the path as to keep an eye open for attackers. The mountain still went quite a way up, but that wasn’t important to the villagers. Along the outskirts of the village was a small path that went towards a cave. The front of the cave had giant boulders moved in front of it seeming to act like a wall, but between the two boulders was a strip of clothing covering what looked to be an entrance.
Within the cave was a pile of wood with a dug out hole with a small fire. Inside there was a couple woven baskets with what looked like pelts and clothing. Towards the back was a couple pelts stack on top of thatch. On top of the makeshift bed sat a girl who was staring dully at the flame. Her snow white hair covered her facial features enough to be unable to see her eyes.
“TELL ME AGAIN!” the voice echoed into her cave.
Lifting her chin, she looked towards the cave entrance. Two tone eyes glinted in the swaying light.
“AGAIN!” the voice echoed again.
Her arms fell from her knees as she slowly got up. The sheet fell from her body showing pale smooth skin with a generous figure. She strode towards the baskets and clothed herself in some simple dark cloth shirt and pants.
“THE OTHER DREAM! THE OTHER ONE!” once more the voice bellow entered her home.
Turning to grab one of the pelts, she moved it along her body and slipped on a pair of boots. Her hand moved towards her weapon with a sigh.
“I’M GETTING MY SISTER BACK AND ALL OUR FAMILIES! WHO’S WITH ME?!”
By this point, she was already moving through the trail and heading towards the village. Silence had stricken the people after such a bold question, but none said a thing.
“Just like them to be cowards, pft.” a soft voice escaped the woman but her bitterness was evident. Finally, she emerged from the trail into the village. A few people saw her and immediately they looked away or moved away. Her gaze finally reached the source of the voice. If she remembered correctly her name was Azariah. She was known for outbursts, but she was always worse lately after the disappearance of her sister.
“I will go.”
